2025 Porsche Taycan Performance

The 2025 Porsche Taycan has four available powertrains, with rear or all-wheel drive options. Each powertrain is significantly more powerful than their predecessors. The rear-wheel drive Taycan sedan now leaps from 0 to 60 in 4.5 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than its predecessor. The top powertrain on the Taycan Turb S sedan reaches 60 in just 2.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds quicker than before. The new Taycan also comes with a new posh-to-pass function, available in the Sport Chrono package, offering a boost of 94 HP for 10 seconds or 188 HP with Launch Control. This feature increases the horsepower of the top powertrain to 938 – the most powerful production Porsche available.

Faster Charging

In addition to the added power, the 2025 Taycan features faster charging. It can be charged at an 800-volt DC charging station up to 320 kW, 50 more kW than before. The fast charging window has also expanded, allowing for high charging capacity for extended periods, even at low temperatures. While variables play a role, you can charge your 2025 Taycan from 10 to 80 percent in 18 minutes, even with the expanded battery capacity. Updated Interior and Exterior Design

In addition to the updated powertrains, the 2025 Taycan will have a new look. While the stylized Porsche EV look remains, the front and rear ends will have new styling, including new headlights, taillights, front fenders, and more! The headlights are flatter to showcase the car’s width and feature a high-res LED HD-Matrix Design that displays Porsche’s classic four-point graphics. You also have a new accent color, Turbonite, available on Turbo and Turbo S models. The interior features, like door sill protectors and two new leather-free interior packages, are updated.
